The renewed effort will include merging the sales and marketing teams from Labatt USA and once a recognized beer in WesternNew York. The company said it has begun $6 million in upgradesz and will investanother $4 million in 2010. “Positivee changes are brewing,” said Rich Lozyniak, the new CEO of Northn American Breweries. “We’re reviewing every aspectr of our business to strengthenthe brewery’s NAB said it will upgrad brewery equipment, make necessary repairs and add boiler controls and steam economizers that reduce energy consumption. The changeas are expected to bring annual operatint savings of morethan $1 million.
In additiohn to Genesee, the brewery producesw Seagram’s Escapes, as well as Dundeer Ales and Lagers family ofcraft brands, which includes the Origina l Honey Brown Lager. The Rochester company distributexseveral imports, including Imperial from Costa Rica, Steinlager from New Toohey’s New from Australia and Thwaites from the U.K.
