Here's a roundup of nationwide result s of major retailers operatingin • Macy’s Inc. reported a 8.5 percentr drop in sales for the four-week Februarty period, as customers stayed home or took their tradeto lower-enr retailers. Total sales were $1.6 billion for the period, down 9.3 perceng from $1.7 billion in February 2008.
